Frida's artistic influences

What life experiences most influenced Frida Kahlo’s artwork (i.e., family, her accident, personal relationships, the Mexican Revolution, living in New York and Mexico, teaching, and her education)?

I think all of Frida's hardships inspired her artwork. But her accident and personal relationships inspired the most memorable peices that stood out and changed how artwork was perceived in her time. Her accident caused her to have multiple surgeries and experience many difficulites with her health. Many of Frida's paintings show her experiencing pain. Also, her relationships caused her to have pain and she often painted about those.

Frida was by no means a normal girl. She crossdresse and fell in love with a older man. She was the first woman in mexican history to painr what she really felt instead of what she was tod to.

I believe that the experiences that most influenced Frida's artwork were her accident, personal relationships, and her inability to have a child. She painted a lot more when she was confined to bed due to her accident, and her accident caused a lot of the health problems (and frequent pain) that she had later in life. The anguish from losing a child also influenced her artwork which was often very sad and sometimes even disturbing.

i think all of frida's life experiences most influenced her artwork. but the most life experience that influenced her, i think, was her family. since she was like the rebel of the family it was more difficult for her family to accept her.
